The HeartSine Samaritan’s unique all-in-one design, the Pad-Pak, simplifies setup by integrating the battery and electrode pads into a single cartridge. The Pediatric PAD-PAK is designed for children and infants 8 years old or younger, weighing less than 55 pounds. Once the Pediatric PAD-PAK is snapped in place, the AED will indicate that it is in child mode and will lower the energy level for appropriate childcare. The Pediatric Pad-Pak is to be used with the HeartSine samaritan 350P/360P and the HeartSine samaritan 450P.
- The Pediatric Pad-Pak has a four-year lifespan.
- Pad-Pak replacement is required after every rescue attempt.
