Vital AED + CPR Training Supports Big Heart Bigger Lives

At Vital AED + CPR Training, our mission has always gone beyond providing AEDs and CPR training. It’s about helping people feel prepared when every second matters. That is why we are proud to be a Title Sponsor of Big Heart Bigger Lives, a youth-led organization working to help children with heart conditions and their families gain access to lifesaving AEDs.

When a Child Needs an AED Close By

For some children living with serious heart conditions, having an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) nearby isn’t simply an extra safety measure. Their physicians may recommend that an AED remain accessible to them as they go through everyday life.

That can mean having an AED available at home, at school, during sports, on field trips, or while traveling.

For parents, this creates another concern: What happens if an AED is needed and one isn’t close enough?

While AEDs can provide an important additional layer of emergency preparedness, purchasing one can be a significant expense for a family.

That is where Big Heart Bigger Lives is working to make a difference.

Kids Helping Kids

Big Heart Bigger Lives raises donations to help provide AEDs to children and families who need them but may not otherwise be able to afford one.

Vital AED + CPR Training proudly supports these young volunteers by providing our AED expertise and serving as a Title Sponsor of the organization.

Together, the goal is simple: help make sure financial circumstances don’t stand between a child and access to an AED when one has been recommended for their safety.

Each donated AED represents more than a piece of medical equipment. It can give a family another level of preparedness and help parents feel more confident knowing that lifesaving technology is close by should a cardiac emergency occur.

More Than an AED

Access to an AED is only part of being prepared.

Vital AED + CPR Training believes strongly in education and preparedness, which is why our work also focuses on helping individuals and organizations understand AEDs and learn CPR.

When sudden cardiac arrest occurs, immediate action matters. Recognizing an emergency, calling 911, beginning CPR, and using an AED as soon as one is available can all be critical parts of the chain of survival.

Through our partnership with Big Heart Bigger Lives, we hope to do more than place AEDs in the hands of families. We want to help create communities where people are prepared, educated, and empowered to act.
